What’s happening in the community?
- I am enrolling now the March cohort(s) of Practical Relational Leadership through Authentic Relating. The latest edition of this course, named “Train the Trainer Edition” will teach you a powerful model for building an AR community in your locality or among your friends.
- The Authentic Singles franchise opportunity is now enrolling. See below.
- I am also enrolling for 30-day residential retreat intensives (or “AR Vacations”) from April at our newly-formed Intentional Community in Mexico. We are also looking for permanent members interested in co-creating an Authentic Relating Intentional community.
- This month’s peer-led AR Community Monthly Mastermind Call & Circle is happening Wednesday March 6, 1pm Central.
- Josh Stein’s monthly AR Professionals Mastermind happens on the third Wednesday of each month (next is March 12) at 1pm Eastern. For the zoom link, keep your eye on the Authentic Relating Event Facilitators Facebook group. (If you are reading this mail, you will want to join that group anyway)
- Check out Michaela Winters and Keith McGuinnes Open Institute in Boulder. They are doing pioneering work in AR + Sexuality, including their upcoming TANTRA | Ancient Teachings Meet Modern Practice: A 2-Day Immersion Feb. 17 & 18. and OPEN: Authentic Relating meets Sexuality on March 12. Keith also hosts a Monthly men’s community dinner at his home.
- The Relateful Company has a Level Up Immersion in Austin Feb 22-25 , a Flow Immersion on Vancouver Island Feb 23-25, a Los Angeles Flow Immersion March 15-17, and Relateful Camp April 24-28 in Trinity Texas. Of course check out their Level Up, one of the highest-value Circling trainings in the world (and my Alma Mater) along with The Relateful Coaching Training.
- Circling Europe ain’t standing still. Check out Sean’s Transformational Conversations 5, John’s upcoming Surrendered Leadership in Costa Rica, 2-8 April, El’s The Art of Circling Someone beginning Feb. 8 and El’s Circling: the Foundational Course 5-week closed group – online – Starting 12th February
- Miki Kashtan and the NGL Community is a group I am tracking for their pioneering work in social justice. Its a bit like NVC on steroids. Check out The Power of the Soft Qualities to Transform Patriarchy on Feb. 18. She will also be speaking at A Cry From the Future Global Gathering on Feb. 12-14, which is inspired from the new film The Village of Lovers (about the Tamera eco-village), free to watch for the next 24-hours [I am watching it now…]
People I like: Keith McGuinnes
Keith is a leader for ART International, a senior tantric yogi with deep training in two traditions (Hridaya and Agama), and now co-founder of The Open Institute in Boulder CO (see above). The Open Institute, which Keith co-founded with Michaela Winters, is doing pioneering work in AR + sexuality.
I had known Keith for some years (he was actually in one of my developmental groups) until I re-met him in Mazunte, MX in early 2022, while attending a program at Hridaya Yoga. We spent several pleasurable hours in the pool talking about AR and tantra (tantra is not my expertise, but I am interested).
