September 2026 Newsletter

September 5, 2026 By marc Leave a Comment

As I continue to fight my AI to produce the newsletter, I take some comfort that it’s a bit better and more comprehensive every time (Dear God, please teach me patience…).

Lots of good stuff here, we are rocking it! As always, if you have comments or additions please reply to this email.

In this issue:

  • The Circling Trademark fundraiser is ongoing with close to $7k raised. For the reasons you should support this cause, read our prior mail
  • The Circling Guide Anthology (3rd Edition) is due out in early October. A $25 donation now will get the book mailed to you.
  • A new card deck by Daniel Ek & Friends called Plunge is available, see below. I tested it with my non-AR family, and it passed!
  • We-Flow is now a partner with the Circling Guide. We-Flow founder Stephane Segatori wrote an article in the new Circling Guide Anthology which is fantastic (although, come to think, all the articles are great… thanks to all our hard-working contributors)
  • I continue to discover talented writers and podcasters, listed in the section below “AR Writers, Podcasters & Creators”. Artem Zen is a new entry, he actually interviewed Ken Wilber! Sara Ness is also on a roll. And I had a delightful conversation with Philip & Liz of Relateful which resulted in a fun podcast. Listen here.

A new AR card game by Daniel Ek & Therese Ernedal

I had a lot of fun playing the new AR Card Game called Plunge. I have not used AR card games much until now, but I now see them as a great way to introduce AR to your friends and family, even if they don’t have AR experience. What I like about Plunge is that impact / reflections are built into the game-structure. I battle-tested it with my own family, and it led to a memorable evening!

You can buy Plunge Here.  They will ship to anywhere in the world.
