Below are some of my favorite learning resources on Circling and Authentic Relating, with a particular focus on the history (which fascinates me), and the latest theoretical developments.  Videos here are in no particular order.

Guy Sengstock on Circling

Guy Sengstock describes Circling to a “beginner” audience:

Sivana Podcast: Learn How To Relate To Others (And Yourself) Authentically: The Technique Of “Circling”

SAS History & Reflections (John Thompson and Sean Wilkinson), Parts 1 and 2

Circling Europe’s SAS Training is (arguably) the deepest and most powerful Circling training anywhere.  In these intimate videos, the founders provide fascinating reflection on the history, motivations and great success that they have had in teaching the practice and building a community.

Decker Cunov at Circling Summit 2014

Decker answers questions about circling, community, the strains of leadership, and the business of Circling.  Amazing demonstration of vulnerable leadership and historically interesting in terms of the history of the Boulder Integral Center.

Watch Part 1 here and Part 2 here.

Circling early history in San Francisco

This is a trailer of a movie called After the Beep by Scott Hannon that (apparently) never got produced. It’s a supplement to the Circling History section.

Fast forward to 5:10 to see very early clips of Erwan Devon and “The Community”, a (very young!) Guy Sengstock at the Arete Experience, Decker Cunov, Jerry Candelaria Alexis Shepperd, Nicole Daedone, Robert Kendall and others.  Many of the early founders of the Circling movement are shown in this video.  My only complaint is that it’s too short!
